Our Pastor

Bishop Dr. Clayton Henry Wisdom, senior pastor of the Central New Testament Church of God, Bishop Wisdom was raised in a family deeply committed to ministry. In 1987 Bishop Wisdom and his family migrated to the United States and settled in Florida.

As Bishop Wisdom was sensitive to God’s leading in his life, he followed in the footsteps of Bishop Alonzo Palmer, his mentor.

In 1982, Bishop Wisdom received a Diploma from Jamaica Theological Seminar. He went on to earn a doctoral degree in counseling from Evangelical Bible & Seminary in 2016.

Bishop Wisdom presently serves as Regional Bishop for Region 28

Bishop Wisdom presently serves on the Church State of Florida Board of examiners.

Bishop Wisdom serves as a Notary for the State of Florida. 

In 2010, Bishop Wisdom became the senior pastor of the Central New Testament Church of God.

Bishop Wisdom got married 1982 to First Lady Tamar Wisdom, who holds a master’s degree in Education. This family is blessed with two children. Tyiesha Wisdom, who is presently serving as a minister in The Central New Testament Church of God, and Clayton Wisdom Jr., a very committed young man to the ministry as a video technician.

 A dedicated family man, Bishop Wisdom believes that without the support and encouragement of his wife, Tamar, and his children, his ministry would not be successful.

 Bishop Wisdom’s commitment is to teach the whole Word of God. His passion for people and his desire to reach the lost are evident in the way he communicates Bible truths and his ability to get right to the important issues.
